Home / Wea Creek Orchard - Lafayette, Indiana Fall Activities

Wea Creek Orchard is a seventh-generation family farm on South 200 East just outside Lafayette, with u-pick apples, tractor rides and a farm market. It is open for the 2026 season Thursday through Sunday, and entry to the orchard is free.
When can we go?
Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM, and Sunday from noon to 6 PM. It is closed Monday through Wednesday.
What will the kids do?
Pick apples from more than 15 varieties, including Honeycrisp and Fuji, ride the free tractor rides when the weather allows, and pick out pumpkins and gourds. The market sells apple cider slushies, canned apple cider, honey and jams.
Is there a special event coming up?
The Great Apple Jam is Saturday, October 10 from 10 AM to 6 PM, with live music, a banjo giveaway and the farm's second annual apple pie contest.
Can we bring the dog?
Yes, as long as it stays on a leash the whole time. The farm asks this because some guests are uneasy around dogs or allergic.
