About Jacobs' Family Orchard
Jacobs' Family Orchard sits between Muncie and New Castle and is run by the Jacobs family, whose families have farmed for four generations. It is open from August through the first weekend of November.
Can we pick our own apples?
No. The family picks and sorts the apples and sets bags out on tables for you to choose from. Kids can still pick out their own pumpkin from a large selection.
What is there to do with kids?
From August through October there are hayrides, a farm-themed play area and a sunflower trail. The apple cinnamon donuts are a favorite, and cider is sold too.
What are the hours?
Monday through Saturday 8 AM to 6 PM, and Sunday noon to 6 PM.
