About Shafer Orchards
The Shafer Farm is a family u-pick farm in Baroda that grows peaches, apples and grapes, now run by the Forraht family. Peach picking is done for 2026, and u-pick apples and grapes are open now.
When can we pick?
Every day from 9 AM to 6 PM, until mid to late October.
What is there to pick?
There are 24 apple varieties plus Concord and Niagara grapes.
Is there anything besides picking?
The farm sells apple cider made from its own apples, donuts on weekends during the apple season, pre-picked Bartlett pears, and pumpkins and gourds.
