Orchard Market

Orchard Market on US 31 in Free Soil has been selling farm-fresh fruits and vegetables since 1960. The family farms about 250 acres, and the market also has a bakery, homemade fudge and a greenhouse.

What is in the bakery this fall?

Fall treats include caramel apple muffins, apple pie, apple crisp, pumpkin muffins, pumpkin pie and pumpkin roll. The buttercream fudge is made on site too.

What fall produce is there?

The fall apple harvest is under way, with varieties such as Honeycrisp, Gala, Cortland and McIntosh, plus squash and the farm's own pumpkins. The market accepts SNAP benefits, WIC Produce Connection, Senior Project Fresh and Double Up Food Bucks.
