Melick's Town Farm

Melick's Cider Mill and Orchard sits on King Street in Oldwick, one of several locations the Melick family runs in Hunterdon County. It has 50 acres of orchard around a 150-year-old barn, with pick-your-own apples and pumpkins in the fall.

What can we pick here in the fall?

Pumpkins and apples, picked by the pound. The orchard's picking list changes week to week, so the farm suggests checking its ripening calendar before you go.

What happens on weekends?

Wagon rides run on weekends and are included with admission. The weekend Cider Tent pours the farm's own hard cider for adults over 21, and roasted corn is served when the weather allows.

Can we bring the dog or a picnic?

No. The farm asks visitors to leave pets at home, and outside food is not allowed at this location.
