About Barton Orchards
Barton Orchards is a family-owned apple orchard and pumpkin farm in Poughquag that has run for more than 40 years. Fall brings pick-your-own apples and pumpkins, a corn maze, a petting zoo and weekend festivals.
Is it free to get in?
Entry is free Monday through Friday, except Columbus Day. On festival weekends a festival pass is required, and the Hudson Valley Apple Festival is Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4.
Is everything open on weekdays?
No. Hayrides, the Fun Park and the haunted house usually run only during weekend festivals and events. The corn maze is open Fridays, 3 to 8 PM.
What else is there?
A petting zoo with baby goats, playgrounds, a dog park, a general store and creamery, and cider donuts. Parking is free.
