Cherry Hill Orchards at 400 Long Lane in Lancaster has been a pick-your-own fruit farm since 1970, with a farm market and garden center that stay open all year. In the fall you will find pumpkins, apple cider and an autumn hayride through the orchard.
When can we pick?
Pick-your-own hours are Monday through Friday 9 AM to 5 PM and Saturday 9 AM to 4 PM, and it is closed on Sundays. The farm notes these hours change through the season, so check before a late-day trip.
Is the market open longer?
Yes. The market is open Monday through Saturday from 8 AM to 6 PM, with baked goods, jams and jellies, honey, gift baskets and apple cider in season.
Is there anything for little kids?
The farm offers an autumn hayride through the orchard, and its fall posts show goats, a hay maze and wagon rides. As the holidays approach it sells fresh Christmas trees and greens.
