About Houston Pumpkin Festival
The Houston Pumpkin Festival is a free community festival in Houston, Pennsylvania, that raises money for the Houston Volunteer Fire Department. The 2026 festival has been cancelled because of the weather.
Is anything still happening this year?
Only the pumpkin parade. It goes ahead on Saturday, October 10, on Pike Street. The vendors, music and other festival events will not run in 2026.
What is the festival usually like?
It normally runs for three days at the American Legion Post 902 picnic grounds, with food and craft vendors, local bands, children's activities, contests and the parade, and admission is free.
