Alstede Farms on Alstede Farms Lane in Chester is a large pick-your-own farm with orchards, fields, a farm store and friendly farm animals. Apple picking is open, pumpkins are part of the fall visit, and the corn maze is open every day.
How does pick your own work here?
Pick your own is sold as an admission ticket and is open every day, 10 AM to 4:30 PM on weekdays and 9 AM to 4:30 PM on weekends and holidays. The ticket also covers the daytime corn maze, the Blooming Giants Sunflower Trail and the Evergreen Adventure Maze.
When are the children's activities running?
Weekdays from 11 AM to 3 PM and weekends and holidays from 10 AM to 4 PM. The farm store itself is open daily from 9 AM to 6 PM.
Can older kids do the maze at night?
Yes, on Harvest Moon Nights, held on Friday evenings, when you can walk the corn maze by flashlight. These are separate ticketed events.
Is there a special breakfast this fall?
The Fall Flavors Breakfast is on Sunday, October 25, with several seating times from 9 AM, and advance tickets are required.
